How do i make photos public on Flickr??

Thanks to Yahoo Photos shutting down i've moved my photos to Flickr (which im starting to wish i hadnt done). How on earth do i make my sets public, without having to click into each photo individually?? I'm not impressed at the moment, Flickr isnt exactly user friendly.

I love looking at flickr and find some many inspiring images there that I love to put on my blog. Is this legal to do this? As well as the image, I put the image name, artist name and a link back to the artist's flickr site. Is this ok?

Try using the "blog this" feature. If the photo you're looking at has a blog this link above it, you can insert it into your blog, and Flickr automatically provides all the links and crediting. If the link doesn't appear, don't use the image---the owner has limited the rights to it.

It was found in Israel, greater Tel Aviv area, and may be "Coluber Jugularis" but we are not sure.

Ive looked at your pictures and i think you may be right (large whip snake) check out this website to see if you think this fits the description... happy hunting..
Reply:im not an expert on snakes but i know more than most ppl most aussies have some type of knowledge on snakes.and i would have to say(even though the pictures arn't very clear)it does bear a very close resemblance to a whip snake.

Reply:This is not a rattlesnake like the last answer said! You should go to a website called http://www.enature.com and put in your zip code (if you are in the US) and it will list what snakes are found in your area,and you can narrow it down from there.

What gave you the idea that your Yahoo photos will be deleted? Only your account shall be deleted - but: the official shutdown of Yahoo Photos was September 20th, since some users forgot about the date, YA prolonged the deadline for moving photos until October 18th. Any photos still remaining after the deadline will be lost. Go to this Yahoo help page, there is a link to "What are my options if I want to keep my photos?".

In this page also you can see the date until when you can keep using your Yahoo! Photos account. As for me, I can keep using my Yahoo! Photos until October 18, 2007 so; this will end today.

b/c yahoo is closing i decided to sent my phots to flickr and i do now know how to use that site. i got an e-mail saying that the phots are sent and yahoo photos has locked my photos there. i went on flickr.com but i can not find my photos. what can i do?????????? please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, i know what you mean they lost my 700 photos few days ago and i can't find them on my web even if i went on the photos. its a lost you can't find them no more unless magically yahoo lets you enter. sory :(
Reply:Go to www.flickr.com and sign in using your yahoo email address and you should have access to your photos. Other than that, I would need more details to figure out why you can't find your pictures.

I'm obviously not the only one sorry to see Photomail go!.


It was great. It's not the same sending pics as attachments, or having friends go to a photo-sharing site/gallery..





I do comic strips/cartoons with my photos and you simply can't do that attaching a bunch of files.





Also with Photomail, you could put the pics in whatever order, whatever size, with whatever comments/captions you wanted.





It was also then automatically available to the recipient as a SLIDE SHOW WITHIN THE EMAIL.





Does FlickR or other program work with Yahoo email that way?? If not, I think more people will switch to GOOGLE's G-MAIL as many of my friends have already done. With the fierce competition between Yahoo and Google etc. I'm a little surprised at this decision.





I hope you can give me some advice as to what would be the closest thing to Yahoo's discontinued Photomail with regard to the features I mentioned.

Check "incredimail", it sounds interesting and has lots of fun features!
