if i wanted to use flickr i would have signed up with that instead.?So i'm sure everyone has heard the news about yahoo and flickr. Are they going to automatically move our pictures for us? I went to the flickr site and was going to start a new accoutn, my yahoo id was already there, it asked if i wanted to sign in using yahoo id, merge with an existing account, or create a new account. I chose create new account. It automatically still used my yahoo info. Now I cant get that screen back to merge with an existing account. NOW WHAT YAHOO PEOPLE???? How do i move my pics. I have a ton of them there and certainly dont want to lose them. I am a very PO'd yahoo user.
How do i move my pics from yahoo to flickr? or is yahoo going to take care of this for us?
actually the yahoo FAQ says that whichever photo place you choose, they will move your pictures for you. However, you have to select which one you want your pictures moved to....and I'm not sure how to do that. They say in a few places that we don't have to make that decision now, and we will get an email when we need to make the switch. So I guess i'm just waiting for that email...
Reply:Yahoo bought flickr quite a while ago, that's why you don't need a new user ID for flickr. And no, I don't think YA is gonna move your pics, you'll have to do this yourself.

just download all your pictures from Yahoo! Photos and save those to your hard disk ,then you can upload those latter if you want.
