Why go "pro" in Flickr?

What are the advantages/disadvantages of being/not being a pro ? %26amp; how much does it cost for a Flickr pro account?

Why go "pro" in Flickr?
Excerpt from Flickr FAQ:

Can I pay to keep more of my photos on Flickr?

Absolutely! Upgrade to a Pro Account for just US$24.95 a year. Here's what you'll get with a Pro Account:

2 GB monthly upload limit

Unlimited storage

Unlimited bandwidth

Unlimited photosets

Permanent archiving of high-resolution original images

The ability to replace a photo

Ad-free browsing and sharing

Compare that to what you get with a Free Account:

20 MB monthly upload limit

3 photosets

Photostream views limited to the 200 most recent images

Storage of smaller (resized) images
Reply:Hi, I agree with you that Flickr's interface is great, but I dislike the "photostream views limited" rule for free accounts. If you uploaded more that 200 picts, your earlier picts will be hidden. And I think once your account gets deleted due to inactivity, your photos will probably be gone too. Report It

Reply:I wasn't able to contact you. If you ebver see this, please email me , answerman[@]answerman.ru.tc I think I left a comment of you infofries blog in blogger. Is that yours? I have one more question on flickr. Report It
