since I have switched to flickr I cannot recieve picture e-mails from anyone. I recieve the text but then just square boxes with red x's in the upper left corner. How come.

I think if you check your Yahoo mail today, you will find your problem solved. Evidently you were not the only user having this problem (judging by the number of questions on the same subject asked in this forum).
Guess Yahoo had a glitch, and the problem has been resolved.
