Everytime I do some sort of Yahoo Image search, I get a lot of pictures from flickr. Is it something like Facebook, My Space, etc?
How does flickr work.?
As 'David D', pointed out, Flickr is a more sophisticated network, of where you share photos, and people rate them, using it like 'face book', could, if not will, make you unpopular, it is a greate website for photo sharing, but it is taken very seriously by some people.

Reply:Flickr does have some social networking features, but the focus is photos; relationships are secondary (whereas Facebook et al tend to be all about relationships and throwing silly rubbish around).
Reply:flickr is about photos basically but in groups it is very intersting to hang out with friends compete in competitions etc. its really good
