Why isn't my Flickr account working?

I deleted my old Yahoo! e-mail address today that I was signed up for with Flickr, but before I deleted it, I changed my primary e-mail to my new e-mail and was signed in at Flickr with the new e-mail for the remainder of the day. I just signed out and tried to sign back in with the new e-mail and it says it doesn't recognize my new e-mail even though I received a confirmation e-mail from them a few hours ago. I really would appreciate some help because I've had that account for about 2 years and have over 2,000 photos on there! thanks :D
